WOO HOO, WOO HOO, WOO HOO!!! I just received the OFA certificates for "Izzy"....Laurel Oak's Here We Go Again Moonfleet.... she received a rating of 'good' for her hips, normal elbows and normal patellas. I am ecstatic!!!
My daughter Jessica Anne was married today. It was a lovely wedding... simple, yet elegant. Jessica was a stunning bride... the groom was very handsome. The weather was wonderful, the reception was fantastic. My son Zac and my grandson, Gabe attended, and it was great to be able to visit with family and friends. My love to both Jessica and Frank as they begin their lives together.

Izzy turned 2 today, and had hips, elbows and patellas done for certification. All looks very good. Although she has been my problem child on occasion (ate my drywall through a central metal crate; played beaver with my new deck and baseboards); I can't imagine life without her. My thanks to Ken and Alyce (Laurel Oaks) for entrusting Izzy to my care.
We had a great time at the second
bridal shower held in honor of my daughter Jessica. She received
many thoughtful and wonderful gifts. Thanks to my sisters-in-law,
Betsi and Gaele for hosting the shower for Jessica.

We had a great family time at the first bridal shower held in honor of my daughter Jessica. Guests attended from as far away as Texas (cousin Nina) and California (cousin-in-law Jenny). She received many thoughtful and wonderful gifts. Thanks to all who attended the celebration!
"Maxee" has started on her health clearances...she obtained her eye clearance today at a CERF clinic held in conjunction with the Algoma Dog Fanciers shows in Sault Ste. Marie.
There is a new furry body at my home! Goldenoak's Maxed Out at Moonfleet (Maxine/Maxee) has joined the furry multitude at MOONFLEET. She joins her two black sisters, "Elsie" and "Izzy", along with my cats. She has settled in well and appears to be enjoying her new life. She is a smart little girl, and is learning the rules quickly. My thanks to Mary and David Scholten of Goldenoaks Newfoundlands for allowing me the privilege of having Maxee in my life.

Maxee is from the third repeat
breeding of Bentley and Annie, and I have high hopes for this precious
little girl.
I attended the NCA specialty in Frankenmuth, MI, along with "Elsie" and "Izzy". My girls had their OFA cardiac clearance done, as well as blood drawn for the DNA newf database.

"Izzy" competed in the Bred by Exhibitor bitch class, and was shown by her breeder, Kenneth Patrick.
My good friend Candy Webb traveled
from Omaha, NB with her puppy, Luc. We had a great time together
and had the opportunity to meet up with friends we haven't seen for years.
