Today marks 2 years since my divorce became final; as well as 2 WONDERFUL years of freedom! What a Christmas gift to me!!!
My sincere best wishes to my
friends and family for the coming year...
Kitty has left me, and now resides at Iron Range Newfoundlands.
My friend, Candy Webb visited with her puppy Luc for the Thanksgiving long weekend. We had a GREAT time. Luc and Izzy are in love (lust). Here is a picture taken at our visit to the Soo Locks.
"Ben" Golden Oak's Morning Song, a double grandson of Am. Can. Ch. Moonfleet's Hurricane Hugo, OFA, CERF, has received OFA-EXCELLENT hips and OFA normal elbows. He is already OFA heart certified. Congrats to Ben's breeders, David & Mary Scholten. Ben follows in the paw prints of his "auntie Lola" Golden Oaks Moonfleet Lost Star, who is also OFA excellent and OFA normal elbows.
Kim and Frankie (the father of my puppies), competed at the Marquette, Michigan shows, and took Best of Winners for his first U.S. points.
My friend Kim had Frankie (the father of my puppies), at the cardiologist in Green Bay, Wisconsin today. After a heart doppler, he has received an "all clear", and the OFA certification will be submitted.
My friend Kim and I had the Kitty x Frankie babies at the vet today. ALL are just fine!
Microchips are implanted, first vaccinations are done, boys have required "equipment" and all hearts sounded great!
The first "Moonfleet" litter
in almost 4 years was born today! "Kitty" had 6 healthy black babies....
4 females/2 males. My thanks to Kim Doan for allowing me to use "Frankie"
for this litter.
June 28, 2008
"Izzy" had her eyes checked at
the CERF clinic at the Algoma Dog Fanciers Shows and is now known as "Laureloak's
Here We Go Again Moonfleet, CERF, cystinuria normal".
"Izzy" (at the tender age of 9 months) - aka Laureloak's Here We Go Again Moonfleet - took Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex, and obtained the first point towards her Canadian championship!

Kitty was ultrasounded today ~ she is "with child"!!! WOO HOO!!! This will be the first litter whelped by me (Moonfleet) in almost 4 years. I am very, very excited, as is "grandma Kim" -who owns Frankie - the father of the babies. Here is the ultrasound.....
There is a new furry body at my home! Moonfleet's Honky Tonk Angel (Kitty) has returned home to MOONFLEET. She joins her two black sisters, "Elsie" and "Izzy", along with our cats. She has settled in well and appears to be enjoying her new life.

My sincere thanks to Sharon and Gary Rompot (Sangar Newfs) for allowing me to have Kitty back home with me.
My beloved "Phoebe" passed to the Rainbow Bridge today. She joins the other Moonfleet furries who preceded her journey to the bridge.
When Phoebe was spayed after her last litter, she went to live with my good friends, Stewart and Gloria Green. They re-named her "Angel" (and she was their angel). She became a social butterfly ~ enjoying visiting with the variety of people she met on the road at the RV parks.
My thanks to Stewart and Gloria
for loving "our girl" so much.
Rest well, my dear "Phoebers"....
I KNOW we will meet again.
It is with much sadness that my beloved "Gertrude" passed to the Rainbow Bridge. She joins the other Moonfleet furries who preceded her journey to the bridge.
She became the companion of Patty Arcoleo once she retired from the show ring and whelping box. My sincere thanks to Patty for being such a great mom to my "Gerty-Gert".
